East Campus Water War

On my way to the Energy Conference Open House friday night, I ran across a man cocking a rudimentary cross bow.


What are you doing? I asked.
Oh, he said, East Campus has declared war on Senior Haus, and we're having a water battle.

Sure enough, moments later, a tall caped figure emerged across the green near the EAPS building, shouting a challenge. He turned back as another rep from Senior Haus moved forward.


The rest fell out fairly as you'd expect it to.






East Campus won.

street photography--a first attempt

For the photojournalism class, we've been asked to start doing some street photography. Essentially, you go out and photograph strangers. Any strangers. Doing anything that you find interesting. A good street photograph should make the viewer do a double take. It might be humorous or dramatic, or contain the hint of a larger narrative arc.
